Positive Psychology Centre is a group of private Psychology Practices including Mornington, Mt Eliza and Oakleigh dedicated to providing personalised and professional psychology services with a vision to contribute to positive change, growth and wellbeing in our communities.
About the Role
We have an opportunity for an exceptional receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis at the Mornington clinic.
Mornington is our largest practice with 16 rooms. As this location is extremely busy, we have two receptionists working Mon to Fri either covering the Opening or Closing shift. Our practice hours are Mon to Fri are 8:30am to 6:30pm.
Our receptionists are responsible for greeting clients, answering calls, scheduling appointments, processing billings and payments, Medicare management, opening and/or closing the practice, and providing general administrative support to the psychology team.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- The ability to work part-time across 4 days per week and be flexible with opening and closing shifts.
- Experience working in a fast-paced and high-demand environment where clients are attended to promptly.
- A strong work ethic and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Exceptional organisational, attention to detail, and time management skills to be able to effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to easily build rapport and have difficult conversations.
- An understanding of the importance of maintaining client confidentiality.
- An empathic, non-judgmental, and compassionate approach to working with people.
- Can work effectively as part of a team to help promote a positive workplace culture.
- The ability to learn and successfully navigate a client management system.
