We are currently seeking an exceptional Systems & Infrastructure Lead on a part-time basis to oversee our network and server management, implement virtualisation solutions, ensure data and network security, and provide technical expertise and leadership. Requirements:
- Experience: 3-5 years of Systems Administration experience.
- Technical Proficiency: A strong command of Active Directory, Windows Server, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft 365, Azure, Hyper-V, SQL.
- Networking Knowledge: Familiarity with various networking technologies.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Adaptability: Flexibility and adaptability key requirements
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for managing both production and development environments by monitoring availability and taking a comprehensive approach to system health. Your duties include:
- Network Infrastructure: Managing and maintaining network architecture, servers, storage systems, virtualization, and other critical infrastructure components, including support for the virtualized office environment.
- Availability and Reliability: Ensuring high availability, scalability, and reliability of all technology systems and services.
- Incident Management: Proactively addressing system incidents, change requests, and work orders as required.
- Policy and Security: Developing and enforcing infrastructure policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance and security.
- Developer Support: Supporting the developer experience by suggesting and implementing system improvements.
- Security Enhancement: Maintaining and improving the security posture and controls of the business systems in collaboration with teams.
