As the governing body for Golf in Australia, our key responsibilities are to encourage participation across the sport whilst supporting the health of all places to play around the country. Working alongside key industry partners such as the PGA of Australia and the WPGA Tour, Golf Australia helps provide player pathways through the events at club and state level, through to the Australian Open. In addition, we support the high-performance program developing talent through to the professional stage.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Partnership Manager, the role is to support the Commercial Team with day to day responsibility for the account management of Golf Australia’s blue chip partnership portfolio, including a variety of industry and government partners, delivering contracted benefits and exceeding partner expectations to ensure sponsorship retention.
The Partnership Coordinator will work closely with the Public Affairs & Marketing Team, state and regional based development officers and state operations managers to deliver all sponsorship and commercial arrangements expected and grow Golf Australia’s partnerships and commercial arrangements.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Specific areas of responsibility include:
•Assist the commercial team with day-to-day account management
•Assist with digital assets for our partners (website, app, newsletter and social media posts)
•Manage end of year corporate gifts and thank you cards
•Manage partner product and internal allocations
•Manage partner ticketing, car parks and invites
•Manage guests lists for Gala, Pro Am, Am Am, Inside the Ropes, corporate hospitality
•Manage partner logo approvals – signage, website, advertising
•Manage product and prizes for Pro Am and other events
•Assist with the execution of partner activations including the management of bump in and out schedules
•Assist with the execution of events and functions
•Assist with commercial marketing requirements including photography & videography briefs and social media content
•Assist with partner reports
•Support the Australian Open team with event deliverables
•Assist with event operations during events
•Other tasks as directed by the Commercial & Australian Open Team
Key Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills to deliver amazing customer experiences for all event participants. In addition, you will have:
•2+ years’ experience in a sponsor or account service-related role
•Highly organised, dedicated, and passionate with the ability to plan, deliver on tight deadlines with exceptional attention to detail
•Strong relationship skills
•A bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field
•The drive and energy to manage multiple projects & accounts whilst understanding and anticipating client needs
•Proficient computer/IT skills- Adobe Creative Suite and Canva preferred but not required
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Demonstrated ability to problem solve and make sound decisions
•Computer sills especially MS Office and CRM software
•Passion for sport (golf experience not required)
•You will be required to spend some time at organised events throughout Australia
•Some occasional weekend work may be required
