About the Opportunity:In the role of
Partnerships Manager, you'll be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with our key stakeholders to deliver expectational experiences, driving value for our partners. Reporting to the Executive GM Partnerships, you'll play an integral part of enabling the NBL to secure, grow and better leverage corporate partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a portfolio of partnership accounts, managing day-to-day partner activities such as: planning, coordinating approvals, promotional development, media planning, marketing activity, events and activations, and financials.
- Fulfill contractual partnership benefits, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with partners to establish strategic partnership plans with shared objectives and metrics.
- Ensure successful deliverables by understanding and managing partner expectations.
- Maximize partners broadcast and digital media integration, focusing on data acquisition.
- Facilitate commercial partner requirements and campaign support with NBL players, talent, and ambassadors.
- Identify and pitch new revenue opportunities and strategic growth initiatives.
- Build and enhance trustful relationships with partners and their agencies.
- Develop strong internal relationships for cross-functional collaboration.
- Educate the business on partnership objectives and ensure awareness of contractual entitlements.
- Create customized engagement plans to strengthen partner relationships at all levels.
- Manage partnership budgets, including revenue, expenses, and invoicing.
- Accurately measure, monitor, and report on partnership performance.
- Monitor industry trends to support partnership retention and growth.
About You:You are a passionate and driven team player who embodies our values and mission. In addition you'll have:
- 5 years’ experience in sponsorship, sales and/or advertising.
- Bachelors degree in marketing, business or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Excellent interpersonal relationships and time management skills.
- Exceptional diplomacy, discretion and judgement.
- Ability to proactively identify and pitch new commercial opportunities.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver programs with a specified budget.
