About the role;
As an integral part of the parts warehouse team, this position plays a key role in ensuring the success of the sale and distribution of Caterpillar parts and associated products.
The role is a combination of customer service, coordination and sales. You will possess a strong customer focus and extensive mechanical knowledge as you will be the first point of contact for our key industry partners. In this role you will be required to answer customer enquiries and provide support to a team to ensure our parts warehouse is running efficiently and effectively at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Report on weekly parts performance
- Prepare quotes and sales contracts
- Provide technical and administrative research assistance
- Coordinate and participate in special event planning and execution, eg. Trade Shows
- Assist the external sales team in the field
- Pick, pack and dispatch of stock
- Goods Inwards receiving
- General operation of parts warehouse
- Ensuring OHS standards adhered to, including contamination control
About you;
- Previous warehouse experience in similar industry
- Excellent communication skills (written & oral)
- Sound understanding of logistics and warehouse management including purchase ordering and quoting
To be considered for this role, you must possess a current and valid drivers licence.
