Passionate Winery Tour Guide Driver

Dancing Kangaroo Tours is looking for a bubbly, reliable, customer-centric Tour Guide Driver with a strong work ethic and an enthusiastic attitude to join our team.

We are flexible with our schedules so you can pick dates that suit your lifestyle with plenty of work throughout the week and weekends.

This role is for our winery day tour of the Yarra Valley and surrounds. Good knowledge of local history, as well as food & beverage industry, will be an advantage.

As a Tour Guide Driver, you will effectively and safely operate our company passenger vehicles (from 12 to 25 seaters) and provide excellent customer service to our international & local guests. In addition, you will provide professional and entertaining commentary about the sights visited on tour.

To be successful in this role, you must be ambitious, committed and LOVE what you do. You must demonstrate great interpersonal skills and enjoy interacting with people from all around the world.

• Please note we are looking for an applicant who's happy with a  contractor agreement.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to create rapport with customers
• Highly organised
• Required: Bus Driver Accreditation with CPV (can be easily obtained online but can take up to 3 weeks)
• Preferred: Heavy Vehicle License, minimum: light rigid
• Previous experience in tourism - preferred
• Previous experience in dealing with groups of people - desirable

Please note you'll be expected to pick up & drop off our buses from our depot located near Brooklyn (3012 VIC).

Job Types: Seasonal, Contractor Agreement 

Contract length: 12 months

Salary: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour

• We operate 7 days a week
• Usually the day starts at 8AM &  return to depot in Brooklyn 3012 by 6PM

Licence/Certification Requirement:

• Bus Driver Accreditation with CPV (Required)
