The Flour House Is looking for a full time Pastry Chef.

We are not your average Bakery at all, our focus is on producing the best and most nutritious bread and pastry in Melbourne. We source grain from local farmers and mill our own flour using a traditional stone mill we imported from Austria.
We have a grain to table approach, and supporting Victorian Farmers, and the local economy is at the centre of our business.
We are looking for a full time Pastry Chef for our Bakery in Highett, Melbourne.
Applicants must have a minimum of 4 years’ experience working in a high end pastry kitchen.
We are a medium sized kitchen opperation with a great team of Chefs and Bakers who work hard, but also know the importance of having fun.
- The successful applicant will be creative, with the experience to develop and impliment new products, ready for commercial sale.
- Able to work unsupervised, and train junior staff and trainees.
- Be passionate, hardworking, and dedicated.
The applicant will need to have current qualifications in either:
Certificate 4 in Patisserie
Certificate 3 in Patisserie
Certificate 3 in Retail Baking
Salary in the range of $70,000 to $80,000 (plus superannuation).
