What's involved:
As an Apprentice Pastry Chef, you will learn alongside qualified Pastry Chefs learning the skills of cooking, mixing, baking, filling, icing and decorating all kinds of cakes and pastries. Pastry cooks may perform the following tasks but not limited to;

• Operate and monitor baking equipment and temperature to control product quality.
• Glaze and decorate with icing or cream.
• Clean, maintain and store kitchen equipment appropriately.

To suit this role, you will be an eager and motivated individual with a passion for patisserie looking to kick-start your career! You will have good communication skills, seek out opportunities to learn and show initiative in your everyday duties.

In order to be eligible for an apprenticeship in NSW you must be either an:

• Australian Citizenship
• Australian Permanent Residency
• New Zealand Passport Holder residing in Australia for more than six months.
