The Role
Centrally located in Northbridge, the Miss Maud Bakehouse is a well-equipped, dynamic facility producing a wide variety of high quality European products for the 18 Miss Maud stores.
Several unique opportunities have arisen for a qualified Pastry Cook/Pastry Cook Assistant to join us on this journey and contribute positively to the continued success of the Company and taste satisfaction of our customers. About You
- Passion for producing and baking high quality cakes, slices, savories and breads
- A willingness to learn and to take on constructive feedback
- A “roll your sleeves up” attitude
- Ability to maintain high and consistent standards
- An eye for detail and presentation
- Reasonably fit with the ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Have reliable transport with a valid driver’s license
- Be able to work in Australia without restrictions.
- Competent in pastry making & using dough breaks
- Good pallet knife, decorating and cake writing skills
- Excellent technical knowledge of Pastry Cooking techniques
