Compà is looking for an experienced Full-time Pastry Cook (at least 38 hours per week) to join the business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Take charge of ingredient selection for our gelato, cakes, and other sweet products.
•Assume responsibility for the daily production of a diverse array of desserts, semi freddo, cannoli, ice creams, waffles, cakes, and more
•Monitor the product quality at various stages throughout the production process.
•Devise new recipes to bring innovation to our offerings.
•Create imaginative decorations for cakes, ice creams, and other items.
•Ensure the maintenance of daily hygiene standards.
•Operate a variety of tools, mixers and machinery effectively
•Assist in training staff
Skills and Experience:
•Previous work experience of at least 2 years as a Pastrycook
•Be creative and have a genuine interest in the field
•Be able to work independently and be well organized
•Attention to detail and strong work ethic

Salary $70,000 – 90,000 per year
