Position description
We seek an enthusiastic Pathology Aide to join our vibrant Patient Services Team. You will be an essential team member, and your responsibilities will include the following:
- Collecting non-blood samples directly from patients of all ages and conducting basic tests such as ECG and Holter Monitoring
- Guiding patients or caregivers on sampling procedures
- Following strict guidelines and procedures to ensure all samples are accurately labelled and archived.
- Preparing and delivering samples within set timescales for courier collection.
- Regular cleaning and maintenance of the clinic and equipment as per the safety procedures and stringent hygiene regulations.

- Guiding patients or caregivers on sampling procedures
- Preparing specimens for transportation to the laboratory..
Prior to commencement, all candidates must provide documentary evidence of the following:
- A full unrestricted license
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
- 3 doses of COVID-19 and commitment to annual influenza vaccination.
- National Police Check Clearance and Working with Children clearance.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
