Responsibilities
In the role of a Payments Officer you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administration and payments support function on behalf of Gallagher Bassett’s Return to work compensation claims teams. Assisting in the timely management of the return to work process for individuals that have experienced a workplace injury.
On a day to day basis you will:
- Provide a professional and customer focused payments service for all internal and external stakeholders regarding payment and general enquiries
- Support the claims teams through performing general administrative tasks as required
- Liaise with stakeholders for the accurate keying and processing of payments
- Ensure that all payments are processed promptly & accurately, and that all appropriate procedures have been complied with
- Maintain filing and data integrity standards within internal systems
- Monitor, process and action emails received in the shared email inboxes
- Data entry tasks including:
- Maintaining filing and data integrity standards within internal systems;
- Updating stakeholder details within internal database;
- Ensure that all payments are processed promptly & accurately, and that all appropriate procedures have been complied with including privacy standards
Qualifications
We are interested in hearing from people who have:
- Previous administration experience
- Previous data entry experience with a high level of accuracy
- Proficient with the use of Microsoft suite
- Experience working within a highly service focused customer service environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a team player attitude
- Exceptional time management and organisation skills
