Your day to day:
- Processing fortnightly end-to-end payroll for approximately 200 employees
- Monthly processing of superannuation and completing appropriate records
- Overseeing integrations between HRIS and Time and Attendance systems
- Completing month-end and year-end reporting and reconciliation processes
- Assisting with compliance-related reporting and Workers Compensation Insurance documentation
- Providing support and answering queries related to leave or pay
- Maintaining HR systems for onboarding and exiting employees
- Reviewing payroll processes for continuous improvement
- Assisting with payroll-related unification processes and system implementation
- Previous experience with MicrOpay payroll system is essential
- Experience working with time and attendance systems is essential
- Experience with Connx is desirable
- Proven experience in running an end-to-end payroll process, preferably with exposure to salary packaging
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines
- High levels of resilience and adaptability in a changing environment
- Strong customer service ethos and willingness to support internal stakeholders
- Primarily based at the Sydney office in Glebe with hybrid work options
- $45 to $47 per hour + super
- 6 month temporary role with possibility of extension
