Bulk Fuel Australia is a specialist in operational on-site fuel supply to a variety of heavy industries and major projects across Australia. On the back of strong growth across our regions, we are seeking a dynamic individual to support complete our weekly driver Payroll and assist with the Accounts Payable function. This is a full-time role based at our head office in Rocklea.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic team player to join a fun team operating as a market leader in our industry. The role is presents a great balance of responsibility and variety to an individual with prior experience in either Payroll or Accounts Payable. This is a role with coverage over both our finance team and operations team. Key responsibilities include:
- Payroll processing for 70+ employees on a weekly basis,
- Managing internal queries,
- Processing invoices,
- Processing payment files,
- Setting up new supplier accounts,
- Completing new supplier credit applications,
- Customer receipting,
- Ad-Hoc tasks as required including month end assistance.
The position is an integral part of a busy team, in a fast-paced environment that deals with suppliers and customers daily and calls for a person with exceptional organisational skills who can problem-solve on the run.
About you
The following skills and experience will hold you in good stead for this position:
- A prior background in Payroll and/or Accounts Payable,
- Experience in Customer Service/Management,
- Excellent attention to detail,
- A strong background in operational and finance support roles would be highly advantageous,
- Strong ability to multi-task and meet deadlines,
- Strong ability to take initiative and demonstrate proactiveness,
- Clear communication (both verbal and written),
- High-level administration skills,
- High-level software IQ,
- Friendly and outgoing personality to provide excellent service,
- Willingness to learn the business, and
- Ability to learn new IT systems.
