The Role
Merivale is after a Part-Time Payroll Coordinator to join our People Experience Team. Working with various systems and teams within the wider department, this is a highly administrative role in a busy environment, requiring a high attention to detail.
Responsibilities include:
- Administration across various areas of the employee life cycle.
- Looking after onboarding information into payroll systems.
- Carrying out certain processes within the weekly payroll cycle such as terminations when people exit the business.
- Regular compliance checks carried out on a weekly or monthly basis.
- Assisting with improvement opportunities and providing general support across other aspects of the People Experience Team.
About you:
- Previous payroll experience isn't required but a desire to learn, follow processes and deliver high quality work would be advantageous.
- Previous experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) is preferred.
- Can work within a team in a high-volume environment.
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and verbally across all levels of internal stakeholders.
- Have a love for the hospitality industry.
