The role:
- Reporting to the Senior Payroll Manager, Australia Shared Services, Australian Payroll team and managing
- 2 direct reports who have their own team.
- Manage the timely delivery of all statutory payments across the business.
- Prepare electronic funds transfer for payroll banking and send payroll reports for management approval
- Process Head Office payroll
- Process accurate monthly incentive payments
- Run and reconcile payroll reports, reconcile payroll errors and ensure prompt corrections
- Process terminations of employment
- Prepare reports as required for Australian Department Managers and Centre
- Management of team and assisting the Senior Payroll Manager when required with Projects
- Assist with monthly payroll clearing reconciliations
- Month End payroll closure and payroll tax lodgment
- Resolve escalations from the stakeholders
- Daily administration of payroll related transactions
- Preparation of payroll journals from the payroll system
About you:
Experience managing a team and collaborating to make improvements across the Payroll experience
System savvy
High attention to detail
Strong Excel skills for reporting purposes
This company look after their teams. They are happy for you to work from home 3 days per week and the only day they need face to face is Thursday. Typical hours are 9-5. Growth is actively encouraged and training will be provided.
