A great opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Payroll Manager to join a reputable global hospitality organisation based in Collingwood. The Role

Reporting to the Group Manager - HR, this position will be responsible for managing the end to end payroll function as well as managing a small team of Payroll Officers. 

Key responsibilities will include:

• Process and administer fortnightly payroll for all employees accurately and in a timely manner.
• Coordinate day-to-day financial functions of the HR and payroll team using Preceda software
• Collaborate closely with external managed services payroll company 
• Maintain payroll records and employee data confidentiality
• General reporting & annual audit reconciliations
• Interpret awards and legislation's in accordance to staff
• Process Superannuation, WorkCover payments as well as Taxation (PAYG, Payroll Tax)
• Handle payroll queries and discrepancies effectively and promptly
• General reporting & annual audit reconciliations

What are we looking for?

• Proven experience in a senior payroll within a global organisation 
• Proven experience in an internal & third-party payroll position - highly desirable
• Solid experience in payroll functions including exposure to superannuation regulation and payments, work cover and bonus schemes
• MUST have extensive knowledge of Preceda
• Strong attention to detail
• Hands on approach and a big team player
