Our client is a high-profile fashion company operating both retail and wholesale businesses. Therefore, It is imperative that you have payroll experience with retail awards.
As the Payroll Officer you will support the Finance Manager in handling payroll for their National Operations. They have recently moved to a new cloud-based payroll system and are looking for someone who can help with the full cycle of payroll.
Responsibilities will include
- Full function payroll processing for under 400 staff weekly within a timesheet system
- Reconciliations
- Processing superannuation, payroll tax and PAYG tax payments
- Answering payroll enquiries
- General administration
The successful candidate for this job role will need to be an experienced Payroll Manager and be willing to learn a new system.
The ideal candidate will possess
- Have knowledge in VIC and interstate payroll taxes, manual casual LSL calcs, and retail awards
- You must have good time management
- Strong attention to detail and be a good communicator.
- A candidate with MICROPAY experience would be beneficial
- Candidate with previous retail experience
