TwoScots are delighted to be partnering with a highly reputable organisation within the Transports & Logistics sector who have been in operation for over 100 years. My client is looking for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable Payroll Manager to oversee, lead and nurture a small close-knit team. All whilst looking at process improvement strategies, upcoming projects and managing the delivery of the payroll function. The fundamental duties of the role are listed below:

Duties:
- Ensure the overall accurate delivery of all payroll cycles liaising with stakeholders and the executive team members
- Ensure the payroll is delivered in line with all legislative requirements, including relevant reporting to the ATO
- Lead, nurture and mentor members of the team
- Monitor and evaluate systems and processes across payroll and HRIS
- Ensure governance and compliance practices are controlled and in line at all times
- Undertake and conduct projects for process improvement to improve efficiencies
- Oversee and manage all enterprise agreements to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Address, investigate and resolve any payroll-related compliance issues or discrepancies, escalating to HR as appropriate.
- Maintaining the highest degree of quality with regards to policies and procedures
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrable people management experience
- Solid knowledge and experience using large ERP such as SAP or Chris21
- Proven ability to identify change management strategies
- Proven experience within payroll projects/implementation is desirable
- Proven experience in managing stakeholder relationships and customers
- Strong understanding of complex EBAs and Awards, including negotiation of awards
- Strong experience driving process improvements and developing succession planning
