The Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Payroll Manager to join the People & Culture team.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing (fortnightly and off-cycle runs).
- Accurately manage the maintenance of employee records related to payroll, including personal details, tax information, salary packaging and other relevant data.
- Work with the Payroll and Systems Advisor to address and resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues and provide timely support and accurate advisory services to employees with payroll-related queries and manage Payroll inbox enquiries.
- Ensure compliance, application and operation of all Award and legislative requirements.
- Work closely with members of the P&C team and Finance team on operations, systems, reporting and risk mitigation projects, terminations, promotions, and salary changes.
About you
You will have:
- Extensive experience in end-to-end payroll processing, and in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated experience building effective working relationships internally & externally and ability to seek relevant advice/information from appropriate people and sources.
- Experience implementing and managing payroll systems or software upgrades, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in payroll processing.
- Experience working with site workers, shift workers etc.
