About the Role:
As our Payroll Manager, you will lead, coach, and mentor the payroll team, partnering with Directors to deliver the highest level of service and understand business requirements.
You will ensure effective and accurate end-to-end payroll processing, performing quality control audits to guarantee accuracy. Additionally, you'll manage the preparation of all State and Federal tax obligations, develop and implement the Payroll strategy, and monitor the payroll inbox. Processing end-of-month and end-of-financial-year reports will also be part of your responsibilities to ensure appropriate control of payroll expenditure and the production of timely management accounts.

- Strong mathematical skills with an eye for numerical accuracy
- Knowledge of modern awards and proficiency in interpreting them
- Exceptional time management skills
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality at all times

- Ability to take direction, receive feedback, and ask questions as needed
- Initiative to take on new tasks
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge of working with iChris or Chris21 highly regarded.
