Payroll Officer

Robert Half has partnered with a highly respected organisation caring for the vulnerable in the community. Our client is a seeking a hardworking Payroll Officer to work alongside a friendly and knowledgeable team. You will enjoy a modern, fast-paced work environment and the opportunity to take your payroll knowledge to the next level!

The Role

Do you enjoy a fast-paced environment where every day is different? In this dynamic role you will contribute to a fortnightly payroll process and work alongside an experienced and inspiring team. You will be responsible for data entry, reconciliation of timecards, pay distribution and providing statements to various departments. Your extraordinary time management and attention to detail will take you far in this role when considering awards and EBAs for the volumes you will be processing.

Your Skills & Experience.

• 1-2 years' experience in payroll processing.
• Comfortable with a complex payroll with multiple awards and EBAs.
• Proficiency in payroll systems and openness to learning new systems.
• Ability to identify opportunity in payroll processing and system use.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
• Remarkable attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written and listening).
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• General administration skills.

About You

You are both a team-player and a self-starter comfortable managing your own delegated pay runs as well as collaborating with your team? This position will provide job satisfaction by taking on the responsibility of running your own accurate and timely payrolls. We are keeping a motivated candidate who is looking to take their payroll career to the next level whilst challenging their existing skill set.
