The Company
Our client is a respected organisation located in Melbourne's western suburbs with a state-of-the-art office and facilities. This is an exclusive opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to work on processing and coordinating of end-to-end payroll and administration activities.
The Position
Reporting to the CFO, your duties will include:
- Process weekly end to end payroll, for 700-800 employees across multiple sites and companies
- Manage high volume timesheets
- Prepare superannuation payments and reconciliations
- Process weekly invoices
- Interpretation of Award and EBA
- Answer all payroll related queries via phone and email
- Ad-hoc duties when and as required
The Candidate
The successful applicant will have previous experience in a similar role, preferably from the construction or manufacturing industry and display the following:
- Proven experience in processing weekly, high-volume end to end payroll
- Strong system experience such as ViewPoint, SAP and Micropay with capabilities to work through future system migration
- Working knowledge of current Australian payroll, taxation, and relevant legislation
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work autonomously
- Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding, time-strict environment
Hours of operation are from 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday through to Friday.
This position requires an experienced Payroll Officer who has previously worked through system migration. You must be resilient, adaptable, process driven, organised, and possess exceptional attention to detail.
