- 2 days wfh Hours
- 38 hrs/week Provide administrative and transactional processing support to the payroll function and a high level of customer service to both internal and external clients and promote compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Key accountabilities
Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll related to data, respecting appropriate confidentiality.
Prioritise and manage your work to support the payroll team to meet its target, timelines and project milestones.
Ensure payroll related information, advice and education to employees, managers or external parties is in line with Company's policies and procedures and appropriate to the situation.
Follow up queries and escalate any difficult, complex or non-compliant matters outside of policy to the Team Leader.
Contribute payroll knowledge and capability to assist in maintaining and developing payroll systems, processes and procedures, including recommending and implementing improvements initiatives.
Accountable for creating and capturing accurate and complete records of the business activities related to this position, in accordance with approved policy and procedures. This is applicable to both hardcopy and electronic information, including email.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures and any legislative requirements relevant to this position.
Any other reasonable and related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organisation.

Requirements of the position Skills and experience
Minimum of 2 years' experience in processing a full range of payroll activities and, in particular, in using an integrated Windows based HRIS Payroll system.
Demonstrated keyboard skills and experience with a variety of software, including MS Excel, Word and Outlook, with a high degree of accuracy.
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer service focus.
Proven ability to prioritise, schedule and organise work within strict timelines.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as being capable of working independently.
Understanding and commitment to process improvement
You will possess knowledge of a range of procedures, policy and operational processes and systems.
There is also a requirement for accuracy and order.
Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
