SO4 are driving toward the production of world class Sulphate of Potash (SOP). Our Lake Way asset is in the Goldfields region of Western Australia, 15 kilometres south of Wiluna. We are entering an exciting new phase in our progress, as we will be into our production ramp-up in a few days.

THE ROLE
As the Payroll Officer for the organisation based in our well appointed Perth offices, you will report into the Financial Controller. You will be responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the Company’s payroll function, whilst assisting the finance department with accounts payable or finance related information.
Your main focus will be on:
- Timely and accurate onboarding of new employees and maintaining data integrity.
- Effectively manage the end-to-end processing of fortnightly and monthly payroll payments.
- Timely and accurate preparation of ad hoc payroll payments.
- Accurate calculation and processing of termination payments.
- Prompt response to employee and manager queries.
- Timely preparation and lodgement of monthly payment of PAYG, superannuation and payroll tax information, and accurate submission of data to relevant statutory authorities.
- Reconciliation of payroll related general ledger accounts monthly.
- Ensure the accurate and confidential management of employee payroll information.
ABOUT YOU
We are seeking a candidate with a can do attitude with Tertiary level qualification in Accounting, Finance or a similar field.
You will have the following experience:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar role within the resources sector.
- Ability to communicate with a confident and compelling message to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Established approach on being able to effectively source, gather, interpret, and communicate quantitative and qualitative data.
You will have an advanced knowledge of:
- Pronto is a must.
- Intermediate proficiency in Office 365 applications and advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Working knowledge using Aconex and INX is desirable
