The Role:
My client currently has an exciting permanent opportunity within their payroll team & are looking for an experienced SAP Payroll Officer to fill that gap & to complete the end-to-end payroll process on a fortnightly & monthly basis.
You will report into the payroll manager & will be responsible for the end-to-end management & processing of payroll for all Enterprise Agreement employees, fortnightly & monthly paid employees & you will be required to deliver high-quality comprehensive payroll services, within the regulatory framework.
Some more details on the role are below:
- Working as part of the team to run full end-to-end payroll processing for monthly & fortnightly payrolls of up to 5000 employees, ensuring that they are accurate, compliant & on time. This will include deduction listings, payments, reconciliations & more
- Continuously seeking to improve their payroll processes to ensure efficiency, compliance, & a positive employee experience
- Resolving payroll related payment queries through their case management system (Service Now)
- ATO compliance (Payroll Tax, Superannuation, PAYG etc)
- Interpretation of Awards & Enterprise Agreement employment contracts
- Support the Payroll Financial Mid & Year End process & Salary review process
- Process transactions in relation to superannuation, deductions & provide relevant information to external parties in a timely, accurate & efficient manner
- Setup & maintenance of payroll records including new starters, employee changes & terminations
- Assisting in payroll projects as required, including clear requirement gathering & strong testing ability
You will have a proven ability to collaborate & communicate well across multiple teams & at different levels, as well as a strong continuous improvement & customer service mindset.
Some qualities you must possess to be considered for this role are:
- Proven experience with Australian payroll, ideally within a high-volume environment (circa 2500+ employees)
- Proven SAP Payroll system experience & knowledge
- Proven SuccessFactors & Kronos system experience & knowledge
- Excellent knowledge in application of Awards & Enterprise Agreements
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Excel
- Strong administration ability, attention to detail & time management skills
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills
- Excellent ability to build & nurture relationships at all levels within the organisation
- Have a strong focus on high-level customer service
Only candidates who possess strong experience & knowledge with SAP, SuccessFactors & Kronos systems will be considered for this role!!!It is mandatory to be advanced with SAP, SuccessFactors & Kronos!!!
