- Manage our outsourced payroll provide Cerdian/Dayforce to accurately run and pay the fortnightly payroll for all permanent, casual and contracted staff in Australia
- Support the New Zealand outsourced payroll as required in the alternative fortnightly cycle
- Manage all leave applications, processing, accrual and reporting through the payroll system
- Manage Superannuation, Workers Compensation and Payroll Tax filing and reporting in line with statutory regulations
- Stay up to date with and implement all relevant Payroll legislation
- Work HR and Retail Operations on the accurate application of our Enterprise Agreement to staff rosters in our time and attendance system to generate accurate payments
- Educate the HR and Finance team on legislative requirements that affect payroll, e.g. changes to the superannuation guarantee, STP
- Work with the Finance team on monthly commission processing
- Maintain the Payroll/HR systems and LVMH systems
- Educate staff and managers on system utilization and maximization.
- Work with the HR team and Region on compensation and benefits packages
- Work with the Region Compensation and Benefits teams to participate in compensation and benefits related surveys e.g. Salary survey submissions to keep abreast of market provisions and ensure data is relevant
- Regular reporting and monitoring, for example probation, leave accruals including excessive leave accrual, long service and recurring absenteeism
- Perform all statutory reporting and make timely payments to relevant parties
- Generate the monthly, quarterly and annual regional and group reporting requirements
- Work with the Company's Work Cover officer to coordinate and process all Workers Compensation requirements
- Work with HR on all visa applications and immigration reporting requirements
- Work closely with in-house and external auditors for audit on payroll processes and numeration.
- At least 3 years full function payroll experience for 400+ staff, across a mix of permanent, part-time, casual and contracted staff
- Experience with Ceridian/Dayforce and Success Factors would be an advantage
- Experience processing Workers Compensation claims is essential
- Processing payrolls based on an EBA or modern awards, across all states and exposure to NZ payroll requirements would be highly advantageous
- Experience in upgrading a payroll system upgrade will be highly regarded
- Excellent written and spoken communication
- Effective stakeholder management
