About the role
Reporting to the Payroll Superintendent, you will be responsible for administering and processing all manual and automated payments to MinRes employees in an accurate and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
Ensuring correct setup of new personnel on the payroll and finalising taxation and superannuation records
Checking weekly, fortnightly, or monthly timesheets are completed and correctly inputted into SAP for payment
Processing leave applications and other payroll related documents as required
Calculating payments for leave and final payments on termination
Ensuring correct remittance of tax and other employee deductions
Reconciling payroll runs and reporting on results
Resolving/answering queries relating to payroll from relevant stakeholders across the business
What you’ll bring to the team
Previous experience in payroll, preferably in the mining and resources industry
SAP HR/Payroll experience highly regarded
Able to prioritise and work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to remain calm during busy periods
Able to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative
