BlueRock has a super user friendly payroll system and we’re looking for our next Payroll Officer who has a strong desire to gain more experience in this space! This role is for three full days per week, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
About the role
As a Payroll Officer, you will be a key player in supporting our BlueRock employees and directors.
What will your day to day look like as a Payroll Officer? Well, you can expect to:
- Complete end-to-end payroll processing, including superannuation and other payroll admin tasks.
- Liaise with our wonderful clients with the support of the broader On Demand team.
- Ensure all payroll processes are efficient and compliant. We’re always looking for ways to improve!
- Become an expert in our payroll system, Employment Hero!

BlueRock On Demand is all about providing a seamless end to end payroll experience for our fantastic clients. Our team of payroll heroes are pioneers in extra automation features so we can spend more time helping our clients and less time sorting through timesheets.
This energetic and fun team is always on the lookout for forward-thinking professionals with a passion for payroll, tech and problem solving.
RequirementsWe want to hear from people who:
- Are tech-savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Have basic to intermediate IT and Microsoft Suite skills. Experience with Keypay or Employment Hero is a bonus!
- Any bookkeeping or payroll certifications are a highly regarded but not essential.
- Have permanent working rights in Australia – this is a permanent ongoing role.
