Due to continued growth we are now looking for a Payroll Officer to join our growing team in Sydney.
Our Sydney office supports clients across Aged and NDIS based in Sydney and the surrounding Eastern Suburbs. Our mission at Home Care Assistance is to change the way the world ages. We provide older adults with quality care that enables them to live happier, healthier lives at home.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our finance team with the opportunity for flexible working arrangements. The Payroll Officer will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end payroll process for all employees
- Stay up-to-date on payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
- Assist the Finance Executive with weekly Billing
- Pay our supplier invoices and ensure end-to-end management in Xero
- Process remittances in Xero
- Ensuring deadlines for end of month activities are met
- Assist with Income Tested Care fee billing and collection
- Assist with Accounts Receivable tasks
- Assist Case Managers with budget enquiries
- Ensure compliance with Superannuation requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Cert IV, desirable but not required
- Aged Care Industry experience is desirable
- Experience with Xero and Employment Hero is desirable
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and mentor staff.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
