We are looking for a Payroll Officer and Accounts administrator to join our team and deliver end to end payroll processing and accounting administration.
Key responsibilities:
- Accurate and timely weekly payroll processing for approx. 200 staff in the Sybiz Visipay payroll system
- Prepare, balance and reconcile payroll tax, PAYG, super and other deductions
- Daily bank reconciliation
- Debtor administration
- Administration for workers compensation claims
- Administration for and claims in relation to apprentices
- Company travel administration
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
- Ad-hoc administrative duties
Skills and experience
- Experience with payroll processing in a wages/manufacturing environment
- Good understanding of awards, taxation, superannuation and workers compensation as they relate to payroll processing
- Good,clear written and verbal communication skills with a can-do, problem solving attitude
- Sybiz Visipay experience an advantage but not a requirement
- Accounting/administration (debtors/bank) experience
Working hours: 9am -5pm Full time
