You will be joining our team as a Payroll Officer, playing a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payroll for our dynamic and innovative organisation. Working alongside a dedicated team, you will be responsible for administering the payroll for approximately 400+ employees. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to use your skills to work for an organisation that makes a real impact in people’s lives.
Some of your key duties will include:
- Completing the end-to-end payroll function
- Payroll administration
- Providing high-quality support to ensure all payroll queries are responded to in a timely and effective manner
- Partnering with leaders across the business to provide sound payroll advice to support leaders to make informed decisions
- Maintain accurate payroll records as per payroll accounting standards, regulatory and legislative requirements
- Preparing periodic and ad hoc payroll reports
- Support with new HCM system testing
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Officer who has a deep understanding of the payroll function and a keen eye for detail. You should be a quick learner who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can hit the ground running.
You will also be able to clearly articulate and demonstrate:
- Extensive payroll experience
- High-level knowledge of Preceda & Dayforce highly regarded.
- Demonstrated experience operating end-to-end payroll.
- Ability to work independently and manage the BAU components of payroll functions.
- Strong attention to detail, and ability to work consistently to a high standard.
- Strong communication skills
- COVID-19 Vaccination certificate (Required doses in accordance with Government Health Advice)
