About the role:
The organization we are working with is a leading name across Australia and New Zealand within the sector. They are looking for a Payroll Officer who would like to work in a dynamic environment with a strong team based in North Ryde, located close to public transport and onsite parking available
As the Payroll Officer you will report to an experienced and strong leader, working in a collaborative team. You will be processing monthly payroll for approx 200 employees across the business. The role comes with a salary of 80-90k + super (based on experience) and flexible hybrid working
Key Responsibilities:
- End to end processing of monthly pay runs
- Post processing including monthly reconciliations
- Payroll data maintenance including new starters, terminations etc
- Interpret and maintain knowledge of legislation and company policies
- Maintain and update all payroll data within our payroll system
- Liaising with stakeholders, both internal and external
About you:
- Strong experience as Payroll Officer, processing end to end across weekly, monthly and fortnightly pay runs
- General knowledge and understanding of legislative environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced experience in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience working in a fast paced, high volume payroll environment
- Positive, hard working attitude
- Ability to resolve problems in a timely and efficient manner
