AddressOur client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join their dynamic team on a 12-month contract. This role offers the opportunity to utilise your Payroll skills in handling payroll with speed and accuracy.
As a Payroll Officer, you will play an integral role in our client's team, processing payroll accurately. Your primary responsibilities will include dealing with day-to-day tickets and requests, updating wage types, handling terminations, and processing various administrative tasks related to payroll. This role demands excellent time management skills. The ability to question when something doesn't make sense is crucial for success in this position.
Your Day To Day
Handle day-to-day tickets and requests in a professional manner
Process administrative tasks related to payroll
Update wage types and handle terminations
Ensure all tasks are completed accurately and within set deadlines
The ideal candidate for the Payroll Officer role brings proven experience in a similar role.
In Addition, You Will Bring
Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or similar role
Knowledge of MicrOpay and ConnX for onboarding system experience is desirable.
Ability to manage high volumes of work with speed and accuracy
Excellent time management skills
Strong problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to question when something doesn't make sense
Ability to hit the ground running
