About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated self-starter to join our Human Resources team to deliver timely, accurate end-to-end payroll process for our workforce of around 400 employees. Following a period of rapid growth, this is an exciting new opportunity to be part of the payroll centralization project to deliver an effective and efficient payroll service across the organisation.

The key focus of the roll will include:
- Process payroll accurately and efficiently on a fortnightly basis including payroll adjustments, leave reconciliations, terminations and other associated payroll tasks;
- Ensure employees are paid in accordance with relevant awards, contracts and Enterprise Agreements;
- Payroll reporting, processing and payments for STP, PAYG and Superannuation and other internal and statutory requirement;
- First point of contact for payroll related queries.
- Complete internal fortnightly and end of month payroll processes and reporting
- Review and monitor leave entitlements and usage, including checking compliance with policy for accessing leave
- Maintain employee records, ensuring accurate and timely setup of new employees and employee details changes.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies
- Assists with other Administration duties when Payroll work is completed
About you
Key to your success in the role will be your attention to detail, ability to interact at all levels appropriately with tact and discretion, and ability to work independently but just as easily part of the team to deliver an exceptional payroll service across the organisation.
In addition you’ll have:

- Experience in a similar payroll position (Aged Care experience highly regarded)
- Experience with computerised payroll software solutions (Care Systems highly desirable)
- Ability to manage confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
- Ability to work well under pressure with minimal supervision and to deadlines
- Exceptional communication, organisational and time management skills
- Intermediate – Advanced Microsoft Office Skills, specifically with Excel
