Join a large and friendly payroll team that is responsible for ensuring that Uniting workforce is paid accurately and on time. As Payroll Officer you will understand and work with legislation, Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements to prepare and process two (2) fortnightly pay cycles. Employee and Manager payment and payroll queries come through regularly and you will work with your team mates to proactively respond with accurate and meaningful advice.

In addition to a $78,300 (prorated for part-time) salary plus superannuation, you’ll also receive 17.5% leave loading and have the option to increase your take home pay with access to up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits. Uniting also offers up to 10 weeks paid parental leave and a 10% discount on the childcare subsidy gap fee when using a Uniting Early Learning service or centre.

To make an impact, you will have:
- Previous payroll experience
- Positive approach to data integrity and the ability spot when something’s not right
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation in Victoria and Tasmania
- Experience working with Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements
