Partnered Health are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer for a Fixed Term (12 months) Full-Time position based at our head office on Melbourne Street, North Adelaide working in our Payroll Department.
Our company is made up of a number of established businesses that have been delivering health services to more than 5 million people over the last 20 years, including leading occupational healthcare provider Jobfit Health Group, Partnered Health Medical Centres, Northcare Physio, and Baseline Group.Primarily responsible for the end-to-end processing of the payroll cycle for employees within Partnered Health and its subsidiaries, and the provision of comprehensive and compliant payroll service within
the regulatory framework.
The successful candidate will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrate 2-3 years of previous experience in a similar role and bring an organized and strong analytical based skill set to ensure success in the role.
The position is permanent full-time, working Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Ensure at all times the highest level of customer service via optimal communication
presentation and professional expertise.
Comply with privacy and confidentiality principles to all work practices including the Partnered
Health policies and procedures.
Operate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and ensuring an environment that
encourages teamwork, personal and professional development, customer service and
excellence in performance.
Identify and report any potential problems or disruptions to Management which could relate to
the interruption of business or impact upon the company’s service provision.
Calculation, documentation, processing and communication of payroll and associated statutory
payments such as Payroll PAYG, Workers Compensation and Superannuation Guarantee.
Ad-hoc processing of payments and payroll documentation including termination payments,
back-pay, separation certificates, employment confirmations etc.
First point of contact for payroll related queries. High level queries and other issues to be
escalated to Payroll Team Leader as required.
Maintain up to date employee personnel information
Prepare support for the preparation of audits as required.
Prepare ad hoc reports as requested.
Perform other finance and administrative support duties as required, consistent with the level
of the position, including but not limited to accounts receivable.
Comply with contractual obligations and deliverables as contained in the current contracts.
Contribute towards the company’s overall strategic direction.
Participate in relevant meetings and prepare and present relevant information as required.
Preferred Qualifications, Education and/or Experience
Minimum 2-3 years’ Payroll experience.
Relevant tertiary qualification relating to payroll desirable.
MYOB Exo experience is an advantage
Knowledge of Awards in healthcare and Fair Work Legislation.
Intermediate Excel skills.
Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including demonstrated experience
interacting with a wide range of people.
Ability to deliver services in a manner consistent with the requirements of the client and/or the
service agreement between the company and the client.
Fast and accurate data entry skill
