About the role
A great opportunity is available for an experienced Payroll Officer to work collaboratively as a part of a high performing payroll team. The position reports directly to the Team Leader, Payroll People & Culture and proactively contributes to the provision of a customer centric, payroll service for all sites and locations in accordance with relevant legislation and compliance requirements, enterprise agreements, and other related instructions and contracts.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities of the role include:
- Delivery of reliable and accurate payroll to Santos employees.
- Supporting with query resolution to ensure employees receive high quality and responsive services.
- Using required tools and systems including email, People Connect to manage workloads and communicate with stakeholders, advising of progress and actions.
- Working to deliver services in alignment with SLA’s and KPI’s.
- As required support with international payroll activities.
- Support with activities including data and reporting to assist with effective and efficient audits.
- Accountable for the preparation and processing of payroll, leave and human resource information through interpretation, data input, checking, quality control.
About you
The successful candidate will have proven payroll experience. You will be highly resilient, perseverant with lateral problem-solving skills with a demonstrated capability to work collaboratively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
