Our Recruitment division is a boutique recruitment agency specialising in the supply of Payroll staff, with a particular focus on payroll professionals who are experienced with our own software systems. The Access Group Recruitment are the go-to agency for our clients and payroll professionals looking for contract or permanent positions.
Our client is a family business, they take pride in their distinct approach to business. They are looking for a junior Payroll/Hr Officer to join their team.
Our client’s payroll cycle is fortnightly for a headcount of around 800 you will be reporting to Payroll Team Leader, and you'll be the conductor, ensuring that every aspect runs smoothly, from processing timesheets to handling employee queries using MicrOpay software package(training is provided).
Responsibilities include:
- End-to-end payroll function
- All HR related administration including month end payroll reporting, ATO reporting including STP processing, coordinating employee benefits service providers.
- Monthly reminders to managers regarding probation reviews for all staff.
- Audit annualised salaries yearly
- Visa checks & continual monitoring
- Recruitment support – salaried staff and casuals if needed
- Prepare monthly report to Board of Directors
- Keep WHS/incident reporting platform up to date
Ideal experience: The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years + experience, an excellent understanding of payroll and has a proactive approach towards HR duties.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills & attributes:
Proven work experience in payroll position
Highly developed communication skills
Familiarity with HR administration duties
