Multi Award-winning Gold Coast commercial and industrial builder, Clarke's Design & Construct is in search of a skilled Payroll Officer to join our team in a permanent part-time capacity (1-2 days per week with Wednesdays being essential). This opportunity may be ideal for individuals looking for the perfect work/life balance, balancing family commitments, or looking to re-enter the workforce on a part-time basis.
Completing the full-function payroll process on a weekly basis, we are seeking a seasoned payroll professional with comprehensive knowledge of payroll procedures, Fair Work obligations, proficient data entry abilities, strong attention to detail, and a positive demeanor when addressing payroll inquiries from our valued staff members.
Additionally, this role will assist with providing coverage for leave within our finance team, necessitating a willingness to learn various tasks and the flexibility to work increased hours from time to time.
Ideally, the successful candidate will possess:
- Broad exposure to full function payroll/superannuation/reporting (ideally within the construction industry)
- The desire to understand our business and tasks within the finance department
- Ability to work Wednesdays and the flexibility to scale up hours from time to time in the event of leave coverage for our finance team
