Our client is looking for a Payroll Officer to work at a high standard processing Payroll within a high-volume environment. Your typical week will see you managing multiple priorities and deadlines working within a collaborative team to reach overall goals.
The Role
Do you enjoy a fast-paced, friendly environment where every day is different? In this dynamic role you will be a valuable part of the Payroll team in a variety of clerical duties. You will be responsible for:
- Payroll processing of end-to-end payroll in a high volume of environment, with diligence and ensuring delivery within scheduled deadlines
- Responsible for accurate data entry and inputting information with minimal error
- Reconciliations of timecards, and running reports as required
- Processing Payroll Tax, PAYG, and Superannuation
- Assist with payroll checking, identifying, and communicating errors
- Ensuring employee and system information is correct and maintained
- Liaisons with various stakeholders, communicated via phone or email in a professional manner
- Meeting compliance and company policies, whilst ensuring to follow procedures and accurately meeting deadlines
Your Skills & Experience
- Payroll experience with exposure to the complexities that Payroll can bring.
- Strong experience in using a Payroll processing system is essential.
- You are someone who has a willingness, desire to learn, and a passion for Payroll
- You will possess an exceptional attention to detail and accuracy throughout your work
- You will have the ability to multi-task and co-ordinate multiple priorities
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written and listening).
- Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to easily learn new systems.
You are a self-starter, who is just as comfortable working independently or as part of a team. Your time management skills are extraordinary, and you have an exceptional eye for detail. Your creative flair allows you to offer innovative suggestions to improve payroll processes, and you relish the challenge of learning new systems as all system training will be provided. You enjoy turning your knowledge into inspiration, by sharing your know-how with junior colleagues.
