Payroll Officer 6 - 12 Month Temporary Assignment 3 days in officer, 2 days’ work from home Based in Mascot Onsite parking provided - or 8 minute walk from Mascot train station Paying $45 - $50 per hour plus super (depending on expereince) The role demands someone to start immediately, therefore a background in Payroll (2-3 years) is preferred to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Payroll Processing:
Accurately process end-to-end payroll.
Ensure timely payments of salaries and benefits.
Compliance:
Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations.
Ensure tax and wage law compliance.
Communication:
Address employee payroll inquiries.
Collaborate with HR and finance teams.
New Hires and Terminations
Process new hires and terminations.
Calculate final payments for terminated employees.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements.
Stay informed about industry best practices.
The Payroll Officer ensures precise payroll execution, compliance, and effective communication, contributing to the organization's payroll accuracy and efficiency.
