We are looking for a Payroll Officer to join a growing local business. As a crucial member of the team, you will assist in the manual processing to ensure the fortnightly payroll can run smoothly.
About the role:
Providing support to another Payroll Officer your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Setting up new employees in the system
Answering payroll inquiries and managing payroll inbox
Setting up staff super, tax and bank details
Maintaining and keeping staff details up to date ensuring accuracy
Assist in the creation of staff contracts as needed
Provide other assistance as required
About you:
To be considered for this opportunity you will ideally have:
Previous experience in a payroll position
Experience with Micropay and/or Kronos
Ability to work in a team and take instruction
Understanding of Microsoft packages
Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Willingness to learn
