12-month Fix Term position reporting to the Payroll & Governance Manager, this role sits within a close-knit team of 7 who are passionate about providing a seamless payroll experience to everyone across the Insignia Financial Group. The team are part of a nationally distributed People & Culture team who are committed to delivering an exceptional employee experience to the entire organisation.
You will make a difference by: -
You’ll maintain and update team member profiles in SuccessFactors, calculate termination payments and report Single Touch Payroll (STP) amounts to the ATO. No two days are the same, you’ll also process invoice payments, prepare and pay State and Federal tax obligations (including Superannuation Guarantee contributions) plus administer and reconcile employee leave entitlements as well as employee deductions.
What will make you our successful candidate:
First and foremost, you have sound knowledge of general payroll practices, procedures, operations, and legislation and demonstrated payroll experience within a corporate environment. It would be great if you have also worked with SAP (EC/ECP) as that’s our operating system. Secondly, as an experienced Payroll Officer, you understand various awards and can interpret them into logical and rational words that employees can understand.
Finally, you have strong attention to detail, exceptional communication, and problem-solving skills, you can work autonomously as well as part of a broader team and are excited about the opportunity to join the payroll team at Insignia Financial.
