About the roleMater is currently looking for
Payroll Officer to join the team in a permanent, full-time role based at Newstead!Salary: $35.45-$39.62 (Corporate and Admin Level 3) per hour plus superannuation and salary packaging
What you'll be doingReporting to the Payroll Services Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of timely and accurate HR/Payroll services in an autonomous role with a high volume of transactions.
Key duties and responsibilities include:- Full function Payroll services using Aurion - including setting up new starters, , terminations etc
- Calculation of Superannuation
- Interpretation of multiple Industrial Awards and Enterprise Agreements
About youWe are looking for a friendly and dynamic team player with strong attention to detail and accuracy. You will be a customer focussed professional who is flexible, professional in all communications (written and verbal) and can prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.You will also demonstrate integrity with respect to confidentiality of employer and employee interests. Other key skills and experience include:
- Previous experience in a payroll environment where multiple industrial agreements exist
- Previous experience using Aurion and Kronos is highly desirable
- The ability to undertake primary payroll functions and ability to learn secondary payroll functions
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- The ability to undertake primary payroll functions and ability to learn secondary payroll functions
- Experience in delivering accurate and timely advice to customers
