The Opportunity!
As the Payroll Officer at Amorepacific Australia (APAU) you will own the payroll process across the APAU business units.
You will spend your days providing essential support to our fabulous APAU family across the areas of; end to end payroll administration, payroll advice, compliance of awards, policies and procedures and adhoc project work.
The Payroll Officer is an essential member of the APAU Team, whose function is vital to APAU's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- End to end payroll administration including onboarding, new starter processing, auditing, reconciliations, terminations, superannuation and ATO reporting etc
- Accurately interpreting and applying relevant awards/contracts in relation to overtime, penalties and allowances
- Support HR in administrative tasks
- Accurate monthly payroll reporting
- Maintain and improve payroll compliance and standards
- Complete payroll project work and objectives as assigned
- Work closely with payroll partners/services ADP payforce , Kronos, ATO
- Answering payroll queries within the company

What you will bring:
- Experience (minimum 2 years) in a similar role
- Understanding of retail awards and payroll best practices
- Technical experience with payroll packages (ADP payforce, Kronos and SAP)
- Outstanding time management and organisational skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
