Vestas have an exciting role available for an enthusiastic and experienced HR Administrator to engage with all P&C duties and information delivery in the ANZ region.
The role of HR Administrator will focus on providing P&C support and help implement strategies and processes to the Service & Construction leadership team and employees.
This position works across all areas of our business, including our service and construction divisions. Not only will you be engaging with department heads and site management but also have the opportunity to ensure the delivery of a consistent P&C message across the entire region.
Essential skills to succeed in the role will be some of the following, amongst others;
- Experience with working in Matrix structure
- Experience of working with COE functions (TA, Talent management, C&R)
- Must have worked on operational items
- Working closely with Business Partners and aligning with Business & P&C and working closely with the Global People Service team
- Must have worked on Internal disciplinary issues, workforce adjustments and working closely with leaders
- Understanding reports & helping leaders drive actions
- Good to strong understanding of Austalian employment law
- People Pipeline action planning and support
- HR Generalist support to management and employees
- Work in partnership with the Shared Service Centre to execute key HR activities
- Policy and Process Development and Compliance
- Process improvement in key HR practices
- Contribute to and embed our P&C strategy across the ANZ region
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to define recruitment needs
- Engage in the recruitment processes as required including face to face interviews
- Manage ANZ Service & Construction HC and approve recruitment requisitions as required
- Provide support to the TA team and hiring manager with on-boarding new starters
- Ensuring induction material is up to date with current HR practices and policies
- Follow up on CPD performance results and completion and evaluate consistency in performance results
- Coordinate and facilitate the annual People Review for management teams in scope
- Support Employee Survey process including data validation and collection, participate in analysing the results and follow-up on action plans
- Provide accurate ER advice and recommendations to management on employee relations issues, grievances, employee misconduct, performance management process and other general ER issues in accordance with company policy and legislation
- Support managers in any restructures / redundancies to ensure termination is handled in accordance with legislation guidelines and their terms and conditions of employment
- Partner with managers in preparation for discussion with employee being terminated, assessing risk, confidentiality issues and last working day
- Complete HR Reporting, i.e. Monthly Headcount Report, Turnover Reporting, EOWA Reporting
- Collate and analyse exit survey and exit data for Australia and New Zealand
- Review and ensure existing policies, and procedures remain compliant
- Update and create new P&C forms, templates and processes
- Review and update existing employment contracts and employee handbook to ensure legal compliance
- Assist in educating and promoting P&C knowledge base
- Notify PC Services of any employment changes in AU&NZ (internal transfers, exits, new hires etc.)
- Work with PC Services to ensure accuracy and data quality for SAP master data
- P&C Knowledge base content development updates
- Help educate and promote employee benefits and initiatives at local level
- Assist managers with remuneration reviews, off cycle salary reviews and promotions for their employees
- Support managers and employees with understanding and adherence to Job Evaluation process and purpose
- Point of contact for all Mobility and Immigration queries for employees entering and exiting Australia
- Direct employee and manager inquires to Regional Mobility team regarding Immigration and Mobility queries
- Bachelor of Business/ Commerce or related
- Advanced MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrable skills in SAP
- Highly developed communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- People management skills.
