The Workforce Partnerships and Professional Development Team at the Mackay Community Health Centre are seeking applications for a Peer Team Leader to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity
Lead and manage the peer workforce through the provision of operational and Professional supervision.
Provide professional, client focused, high-quality support to mental health clients and support persons (families, friends & carers), whilst ensuring compliance with industrial and legislative provisions aligned to meet business needs.
Provide advice in strategic, operational and human resource management, utilising a well-developed level of specialist knowledge and high-level communication and problem-solving skills.
About the Team
The Workforce Partnerships and Professional Development Team comprises of a diverse staffing group who provide division wide services and programs, to internal and external stakeholders. Programs impact on state and health service deliverables and the portfolio is responsible for ensuring the divisions clinical services comply to relevant legislation through key positions.

Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff.
