About Our Client
The People, Property and Security team is responsible for supporting the strategic direction of thee department by enabling, through strategic and effective frameworks, advice and processes, the organisation to respond effectively to current and future business needs.
The People Advisor Change Management will support change programmes within the department. The People Advisor Change Management will assist in the development of the relevant change management and communication plans and deliver according to key milestones.
Job Description
Promote, utilise and advise on change management methodologies and tools.
Support Managers and Supervisors in change management best practices and the use of the Managing Change in frameworks and tools within their projects.
Work with Managers and Supervisors to create and implement robust change management and communication plans that supports all stakeholders to ensure successful project initiatives.
Liaise with key stakeholders across the organisation to minimise risk and help deliver a successful change programme, including People, Property and Security and Corporate Strategy and Communications.
Understand and establish mechanisms to manage people-related risks and impacts of change.
Under direction, develop and support change plans and modify the approach as required to ensure that key milestones are being achieved.
Facilitate the development and review of position descriptions for the change programme.
Model and promote practices consistent with the APS Code of Conduct and APS Values.
The Successful Applicant
Relevant change management related degree or Human Resources (HR) qualification
Proven experience in an equivalent role
Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills
Experience in managing and leading Government organisational change.
Excellent communication skills
