Our client is seeking to engage a People and Culture Administrator on a contract until 16/02/2024.
The position will report to the Manager, Strategic Workforce Planning. Under general direction, the occupant will:Provide a range of high level confidential administrative support to the Executive Branch Manager and People and Culture Branch, including proactive management of the diary, arranging and scheduling appointments and meetings, screening telephone calls, and ensuring emails and enquiries are dealt with promptly and efficiently. Work Health and Safety team to ensure timely and accurate advice is provided to internal clients (management and staff). Management of various internal registers such as the First Aid and
Working With Vulnerable people
Undertake processes relating to recruitment, employment variations and remuneration, including liaison with Shared Services to ensure that electronic and paper file records are managed appropriately.Preparation of casual teacher employment processes ensuring compliance with Institute requirements
Attend and prepare associated documents for a range of People and Culture meetings and working groups
Provide high quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders by disseminating information about relevant programs and projects. Contribute to multiple project outcomes performing administrative tasks, maintaining systems and databases, records management, data collection and reporting. Support other teams within CIT HR by performing other duties, consistent with the classification of the position, as required.
SELECTION CRITERIA: The following capabilities form the criteria that are required to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. PROFESSIONAL/TECHNICAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE - Demonstrated administrative, organisational and coordination skills of a high order, focusing on the ability to plan, coordinate and prioritise work activities to meet deadlines. Demonstrated sound judgement skills including the ability to work independently and collaboratively with a range of diverse stakeholders, including other administration and Executive support staff.
The occupant of this position is required to be proactive, adaptable and calm under pressure. Demonstrated ability to establish cooperative professional relationships, communicate effectively, orally and in writing. Proven efficiency in the use of various standard computer applications, procedures, correspondence tracking systems and experience in initiating and managing associated reporting procedures and programs.
